Pop sensation and singer-songwriter Taylor Swift has been dominating the music industry with back-to-back remakes of her albums under the ‘Taylor’s Version’ tag. The ‘Blank Space’ singer is currently on her biggest world tour to date – The Eras Tour. It’s no surprise that Taylor is now dominating the box office as well.

According to AMC Theater Distribution and AMC Entertainment, the concert film has already surpassed $100 million globally. The film is slated to release in around 8500 theaters across 100 countries in about a week.

The 2 hours and 45 minutes long film ‘Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour’ will hit the big screens on October 13. The release date is quite special for Swifties (a term for Taylor fans), as thirteen is the singer’s lucky number. The ‘Cardigan’ singer took to Instagram to announce the official date of her upcoming film and shared a link to buy advance tickets.

Interestingly, the Blumhouse production company had earlier scheduled the release date of The Exorcist: Believer on the same day, but later moved it to a later date to ensure coordination between Singer and the filmmakers.

Due to an exclusive deal with AMC Theatres, the Arras Tour film will only be shown at AMC locations. However, according to Deadline, Cinemark and Regal will also show the film along with AMC. The film is expected to run for four weeks, possibly on Thursdays, Fridays and the entire weekend. As far as sub-distribution partners are concerned, Variance Films operates Premiere in the US, Cinepolis in Mexico and Central America, and Cineplex in Canada. However, Trafalgar handles the release outside of North America.

As the film is being filmed at 6 shows of the singer’s ongoing world tour, the music documentary is expected to feature guest appearances by other artists who performed with Taylor during the concerts.
