Salaar is being directed by Prashanth Neel and produced by Vijay Kirandur under the banner of Hombale Films after Prabhas starrer superhit films KGF and Kantara. It was being said that the film would be released in September, but the date was slightly changed. This film will be released in theaters on 22 December 2023. Shruti Haasan is the heroine in the film. Magic Frames and Prithviraj Productions, who released Homebell Films’ KGF, Kantara and Dhoom in Kerala, will release Salaar in theaters across Kerala on September 2.
