Arijit Singh’s show to be held in Chandigarh cancelled, police did not give permission

Bad news for all Arijit Singh fans. The concert to be held in Chandigarh on November 4 has been cancelled. Chandigarh police refused permission for the concert due to limited parking space. The program was to be held at Sector 34 Exhibition Ground.

In this matter, the police have said that the organizers have failed to make adequate parking arrangements for around 5000 vehicles. The police accused the organizers of lacking adequate arrangements as a large number of people are expected to attend the mega event.

This is not the first time that Arijit Singh’s concert has been canceled in the Union Territory. Earlier too, the show was postponed due to heavy rains in May. According to the organizers of the show, they are in touch with the administration and are hoping to resolve the parking issue. It may be noted that around 7000 tickets have been sold, the price of which ranges from 1800 rupees to 2 lakh rupees.

Let us tell you that the police have refused to give permission for the concert by sending a written letter to the Deputy Commissioner of Chandigarh. Over 7,000 tickets (from Rs 1,800 to Rs 2 lakh packages for students) have been sold for the show. Before this November 4 show, Arijit Singh’s concert was scheduled to take place on May 27, 2023. The concert was postponed due to bad weather.
